Description: Built in Chicago by Harmony and marketed in catalogues by Sears, this instrument is really a re-branded Harmony Bobkat. The only difference, if your paying atention, is the pickups on the Harmony branded ones are at an angle, while these are straight. Who knows. She is clean, all original, with the trem arm and two DeArmond diamond top pick-ups. This instrument is, shall we say, petit. With an overall length of just under 37” and a scale length of a full 24”, she’s about the lightest and smallest bodied full scale instrument out there. She has a thick, straight, neck, truss rod and cover intact and little fret ware. There is a little paint wear at the edge of the lower bass bout and a small surface crack in the back upper bass bout which is not at all structural. She’s a cool little guitar with a big biting tone that almost certainly rocked a suburban garage somewhere once. She will ship in her original hard shell (particle board) case.
